About Global Commerce

Vision:

By 2012, position Atlanta as a top global international gateway and commercial center for global commerce.

Mission:

To drive the growth of jobs and investments in the metro Atlanta area created through the attraction of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and the expansion of international companies located in the metro Atlanta area.

Strategy:

Our Global Commerce strategy consists of four categories that are aligned with the four pillars of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce:

1. Job Creation through FDI (Quality of Jobs) – focus on attracting foreign direct investment to the Metro Atlanta area from key countries around the globe
2. Job Creation through Growth (Quality of Growth) – focus on helping Atlanta area companies to expand internationally
3. International Advocacy (Quality of Life) – focus on partnering with local organizations that have a vested interest in the Metro Atlanta area to enhance the infrastructure and quality of services to make Atlanta a truly international business center and destination
4. Membership Outreach (Serving our Members) – focus on offering services that will consistently add value for our members
