Outreach Missions
Global Commerce works to extend Atlanta’s reach around the world by conducting marketing, recruiting, trade development and global talent educational missions each year. The purpose of these missions is to seek business opportunities with the global markets as well as highlighting the visibility of our region. The Council also hosts foreign business delegations visiting Atlanta as we seek to expand our business relationships globally.

Marketing / Recruiting Missions
Global Commerce conducts multiple trade missions each year, offering opportunities to raise awareness for metro Atlanta and to meet with companies that may have an interest in locating or expanding in the metro Atlanta area. Global Talent Educational Missions
Global Commerce led its first Global Talent Educational Mission in 2008. The educational mission is designed to expose business members, especially our Small & Medium Enterprise members, to international markets. During the educational mission, participants learn about several aspects of the international market: differentiation in consumer markets; working with business partners in the market; how to get started in the market; and obstacles to consider. The goal of the educational mission is to give our members a truly global prospective on international business.
